Sweet corn is ripe, delicious and ready to eat.
Steam, boil or BBQ it with a sprinkling of Paprika then eat it fresh from the cob for that super sweet flavour.
Sweet corn is also a fantastic addition to many amazing recipes. Try it in a Velvet Chicken and Sweet Corn Soup as Best Home Chef Angela Scott has done, use it as Pete Evans has done to create Crab and Sweet Corn Cakes, to make some hot corn bread, or simply toss it into salads. Here’s a tip: If you add corn to a salad you can also use the juice from cutting it on the chopping board to give it extra zing.
Our friends at Hello Fresh have shared a yummy recipe using super sweet corn, so you can try this at home!
Love writing blogs, talking to chefs and creating food people love. It's not a food baby, I promise.
