Ingredients

  • 1 x 400g can chickpeas, drained
  • 1 Tbls tahini
  • 1 Tbls lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 drizzle olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper
  • 1 splash water (if needed)

Method

Hummus is a hugely popular go to dip for parties or healthy snacks at home but it is crazy easy to make at home and I guarantee you can make it quicker than the time it would take to go to the supermarket and buy it. Not to mention it’s cheaper too!

Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth. Add a little water if the mix is too stiff. Decant and enjoy!

Makes about 2 supermarket tubs worth.

Tip: Great with toasted pita or vegetable sticks. Also makes a delicious breakfast spread on toast and topped with sauteed mushrooms.
