- 1,5 cup wholemeal flour or atta flour
- 1 Tbls baking powder
- 4 Tbls linseeds
- 2 Tbls white sesame seeds - roasted
- 1 Tbls dutch cinnamon
- 2 Tbls vanilla sugar
- 2 Tbls stevia or raw sugar
- 1 pinch seasalt
- 2 - 3 cups soy milk or coconut quensch
- 1/2 cup flaked almonds
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 1 splash sunflower oil
Mix all ingredients together to a smooth dough. You maybe will need a bit more soy milk. The dough should be smooth and creamy – not to thin.
Get a heart shape (I used one from my cookie makers), heat some sunflower oil and add the dough into the heart. Also add almond flakes on top of the dough. Fill it only half, it will rise! Fry until golden brown and turn to the other side. The heart should be easily to remove.
Do that until your dough has been finished … plate up, dust with icing sugar and serve with strawberries or whatever fruit you like!
You can serve the cakes hot or cold!

Angela that is batter?same as for pancakes?
Yes, pretty similar. I only added some seeds and cinnamon. The batter is a bit thicker than the panake batter. And the almonds really give a nice and also crispy flavour to it
