Ingredients

  • 8 x slices of bacon or ham (cut into 3-4 mm thick)
  • 8 x white slices of toast bread
  • 2 x eggs(lightly beaten just with fork) )
  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 clove garlic(crushed)
  • 50 g mozzarela cheese (shredded )
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch white pepper
  • 1 x fresh green top of shallot (for garnish )
  • 20 g butter

Method

1)The bacon or ham fry in pan on medium heat until change colour.(red )

2)Lightly grease ovenproof dish(20 x 20 cm)with bit of butter.Arrange the bacon or ham between the bread slices,cut into triangles and put into ovenproof dish.

3)In small bowl mix together milk,eggs,salt,pepper and garlic,pour over bread and sprinkle with cheese.Bake in preheated oven about 30 -40 minutes or until golden brown.

PS.This is very quick and easy lunch

  • Snjezana it is very soft,when is finish.I make cucumber salad with and was really yummy,but we have that for lunch.Next day i reheated in microwave oven and still was very soft.We like it.And is very cheap to.
