Ingredients

  • 400 g pork mince
  • 400 g beef mince
  • 2 x brown onion(finely chopped)
  • 1 Tbls olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic(crushed)
  • 2 x tub of philadelphia cream for pasta tomato & italian herbs
  • 2 tspn dry sweet paprika (powder )
  • 1 x sachet of continental rich beef mince (50 g)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/4 tspn chilli powder
  • 1.5 kg potatoes
  • 2 x red capsicum, cut into strips
  • 2 pinches popcorn salt or normal salt
  • 300 ml thickened cream
  • 200 ml mozzarela cheese (shredded )
  • 1 cup fresh baby spinach leafs

Method

1)In pan heat oil on medium heat,add onion and fry until golden.Add mince and cook until mince is separate and brown.Add salt,chilli powder,garlic,sweet paprika and cream,stir and cook until see bubbling.

2)Potatoes wash and peel and sliced ….1cm thick or less.Grease lightly oven proof dish and layer on bottom some of the potatoes.Lightly sprinkle with popcorn salt.Spread mince on and add bit of capsicum and spinach.Again potatoes pinch of popcorn salt and mince,capsicum and baby spinach.Last layers must be potatoes.Pour over thickened cream.Cover and bake in oven on 190 C.When potatoes softer sprinkle on top of it cheese and bake until cheese is nice and golden without lid.
