- 500 g beef mince
- 1 x packet spaghetti ( boiled in salty water )
- 1 x brown onion(finely chopped)
- 1 x red capsicum (cut to strips )
- 4 cloves garlic(crushed)
- 600 ml thickened cream
- 4 x eggs(lightly beaten just with fork) )
- 3/4 cups tomato sauce
- 6 x barbecue sausages(your favour flavour ) )
- 1 Tbls oil
- 250 ml vegetable stock
- 1 Tbls sweet paprika
- 1 tspn salt
- 1/2 tspn black pepper
- 1/2 tspn pizza seasoning
1)In saucepan heat oil on medium heat and add chopped onion and fry until lightly gold.Add mince and cook until brown and separate.Keep stirring,then add sweet paprika,stir and quickly pour in vegetable stock, tomato sauce ,garlic,pizza seasoning,salt and pepper.Cook another 30 minutes,but keep stirring.Taste and see if anything need to be added.
2)Spaghetti cook in salty water as directed on packed,but only half time of cooking,drain and added to the mince.Mix well all together and transfer that to oven proof dish.Put in only half and arrange the sausages on.The sausages must be fried before or cooked under grill.Cover that with rest of spaghetti.
3)In bowl beat eggs with thickened cream and pour over spaghetti.
4)Oven 190 C,bake 45 – 50 minutes or until set up in the centre,(check with fork in the midle,if is still to much liquid in,keep baking,but cover top with aluminium foil.
Serve with gherkin or your favour salad.
PS.This meal is the best cut it after next day,because you will get beautiful shape.Just cooked is very soft.
