  • 1 kg fresh prawns
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 Tbls olive oil
  • 1 Tbls lemon juice
  • 1/2 tspn salt
  • 1 bunch asparagus blanched
  • 1 x lemon quartered


1- Combine the prawns, crushed garlic, salt, oil and lemon juice and give them a quick toss. Glad wrap and refrigerate in the oven for 2 hours.

2- Preheat the barbecue on high and cook the prawns for about one minute on each side when they change colour.

3- Serve on a platter with asparagus and lemon.
