Ingredients

  • 1 x can diced tomatoes with juice (400 g)
  • 250 g dry brown lentils(soaked in cold water 1- 2 hours)
  • 1 x red onions (chopped)
  • 3 Tbls barbecue sauce
  • 2 Tbls sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 Tbls white vinegar
  • 3 x bay leafs
  • 1 tspn salt
  • 1-2 pinch white pepper
  • 1 Tbls oil, for cooking
  • 600 g beef sausages
  • 3 tspn beef stock powder
  • 300 ml thickened cream

Method

1)Put into slow-cooker diced tomatoes,lentils,onion,both sauces,vinegar,bay leafs,salt,pepper,beef stock powder and stir and cover.

2)In pan heat oil on medium heat and add sausages and fry them until nice and brown.Cut them diagonally and transfer into slow-cooker.The liquid from sausages pour into slow-cooker to.(for better taste)Cook 4-5 hours or until lentils soft.Taste and see,if anything need to be added.Before finish pour in thickened cream and stir.

3)Serve over pasta or rice.
