  • 1.25 cups self - raising flour
  • 1 cup butter cake mix
  • 1 Tbls sugar
  • .75 tspn baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 x large eggs
  • 1 tspn vanilla exxence
  • 1.5 cups milk


1. Preheat a frypan to a medium/low heat.
2.Combine flour, cake mix, baking powder, sugar and salt in a bowl and mix with wooden spoon.
3. Add 1 cup of milk, eggs, and vanilla essence. Stir until smooth. Add additional milk until batter can be poured but is not liquid. You can also add more cake mix if you want your pancakes to have a stronger cake flavour. If adding sprinkles, add these to the mixture now and stir softly.
4. Pour aprox 1/4 cup batter per pancake into frypan and let cook until bubbles form on top, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for 1-2 minutes more.
5. Serve

Serving Suggestion – Serve with Ice Cream and Caramel Topping
