- 1 x whole cauliflower
- 1 x packet of plain flour
- 1 x packet of bread - crumbs
- 1 x dozen of eggs
- 1 x salt for seasonning
- 1 x packet of potato gems
- 2 x frozen chopped spinach(250g each)
- 1 x brown onion(finely chopped)
- 1 pinch black pepper
- 1 tspn cornflour ( for spinach )
- 1 x bottle of oil ( for frying )
1)The cauliflower wash and separate into smaller pieces.Keep for a while in cold salty water.(if some insect is in,come out )then wash under running cold water again.Season each piece with salt,them cover with plain flour,deep in whisked eggs and last cover will be bread-crumbs.
2)In frying pan heat oil (must be enough to cover the cauliflowers)on medium heat,add cauliflowers and fry on low heat until cauliflowers are soft and golden all over.Put for a while on paper towel.
3)In saucepan heat little bit of oil on medium heat,add onion and cook until onion is soft.Add spinach little bit water,season with salt and pepper and cook until spinach is cooked.Taste and see,if anything need to be added.If you prefer the spinach thicker,add cornflour mixed with little bit of water and cook until bubble.
4)The potato gems cook as directed on a packet,then serve on a plate with cauliflower and spinach.
