  • 1/2 kg chicken mince
  • 1 tspn paprika
  • 1/2 tspn black pepper
  • 1 tspn salt
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 x onion, grated
  • 1 x egg
  • 1/2 tspn mint
  • 5 x slices of kasseri cheese


1-In a large bowl combine the chicken mince, black pepper, paprika, salt, garlic, half the bread crumbs, onions, mint and egg. Mix all ingredients until evenly combined.
2- Roll tablespoon fills of mince, shaping each portion into a patty.
3- cut the patties in half add Kasseri cheese on one side and join the patty making sure all sides are closed.
4- Dip the patty into the remaining bread crumbs.
5- Heat the oil in a non stick pan and fry the patties 2 minutes on each side.
This is best served while hot where the Kasseri melts when you bite into them.
