- 1,5 cup wholemeal atta flour
- 3/4 cups dessicated coconut
- 1/4 cup dessicated oats
- 3/4 cups stevia or raw sugar
- 3/4 cups baking cocoa powder
- 3 Tbls baking powder
- 1/2 x vanilla pot
- 1 pinch seasalt
- 3/4 - 1 cups sunflower oil
- 350 - 400 ml soy milk or coconut quensh
- 150 g sweet william white chocolate
- 1/2 x vanilla pot
- 1/2 tspn vanilla essence
- 50 ml hot water
To make the cake, preheat oven to 170C° – add the flour, coconut, oats, sugar, baking powder, oil, soy milk, cocoa, salt into your food processor and process until you get a smooth and creamy batter.
Add to a baking dish. Spread the baking dish with a little bit of oil before filling in the batter. Put into the oven and bake for approx 20 – 30 min. I used a small baking dish and I also only filled it half with the dough. I wanted to receive a small cake I could cut into slices. But feel free to use all the dough in a bigger baking dish. The leftover batter I used for muffins – I just added some blueberries.
When the cake is ready, let it cool down. When cooled out, make the ganache.
To make the ganache, melt the chocolate. Use a bowl made of metal or glass and heat some water. You can use the hot water for the ganache.
When the chocolate is melted, add the vanilla seeds and essence, Mix well and add to 50ml hot water — whisk immediately to a smooth chocolate cream. When ready spead over the cooled out chocolate cake and refridgerate until firm. ENJOY

Angela you are happy when people rate your dish, but I go all the time through the competition and I see you don’t give it to people any marks.I really don’t care, but will be nice when you do.I know you will be happy when you win,but think about it.Good luck.
Oh that is not true Anna — I do give my ratings as well. The last dishes I voted for are your potato wedges and Sarahs mushrooms. I also voted for a couple of Ser Yem’s dishes, Allyshas Ricepaper rolls etc! I also voted for a lot of other dishes. I don’t vote for dishes what include animal products, specially meat. I am a vegan with all my heart and soul and to vote for meat dishes and also other animal product dishes would not be honest and most important not for what I stand for! I actually always vote for dishes I can relate to (and even sometimes which include animal products, like Sarahs mushroom dish) and I think I actually voted for a lot of dishes here at BHC Actually, I think my dishes here are the one who get not much attention because they are vegan – when you see the votings, my dishes are the most un-noticed ones. Not one of my dishes made it into the rancing list! And I don’t think thats because they are not good enough – Think about it —
Ps: only this year I voted for 34 dishes! And its just end of July! A couple of are yours. There are several dishes I voted for which didn’t get another vote from someone else —
Angela you are right.I am very sorry I forget you are vegan.( that means vegetarian?)Again sorry darling.I don’t want hurt you.Have a nice day.
No worries Anna.
I was a bit “shocked” because I really also vote for a lot of dishes here at BHC.
Vegan is not vegetarian – vegan means no meat, no fish, no dairy, no eggs, no honey, no animal products at all.
Agela thank you for explanations.Sorry again.Good luck in cooking.
