Ingredients

  • 2 x eggs
  • 50-100 g butter
  • 2-2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2-2 1/2 cups flour
  • 2-2 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tspn baking powder
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbls butter
  • 2 Tbls cream

Method

whip egg,sugar porus. melt butter, mix flour and baking powder, mix all together adding the milk.
Pour into a round baking tray, cook for 30-35 min, 175-200 C.

Topping: mix coconut, sugar, butter, cream togther, bring to boil stiring. Spread the topping onto the cake, put back into oven and cook until golden.
