Glory Ginger Cake

Ingredients
- 125 g butter
- 3/4 cups brown sugar
- 1 x egg
- 1 Tbls golden syrup
- 3/4 cups plain flour
- 1 tspn ground ginger
- 1 tspn cinnamon
- 1 tspn bi carb soda
- 1/8 tspn salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sliced ginger
Method
Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add egg and beat well. Sift dry ingredients together fold into egg mixture with milk,syrup and sliced ginger.
Bake in a ring tin in a moderate oven for 30 to 35 mins or until cooked.
Ice with cream cheese frosting and if you have an anzac or buttersnap biscuit can be crumbled on top of icing.
