- 1 slice x fry's burgers
- 1/2 x onion, sliced
- 1-2 stalks x kale - sliced
- 1 pinch smoked paprika or liquid smoke
- 1 splash organic ketchup
- 1 pinch seasalt
- 2 scilces x of multigrain toast
- 2 big x mushrooms (sliced )
This is my favorite burger when I need a quick lunch and have not much time for cooking!
All you need is a package of FRY’s burgers (available at Coles and Woolies at the frozen section).
Prepare the kale, mushrooms and onion. Heat some oil in 2 different pans — one for the burger slice and one for the kale. Fry the kale with a couple of drops liquid smoke or smoked paprika powder and a pinch of salt. Remove from pan when slighty soft and fry the mushrooms as well.
When the burger slice is slightly golden brown, add the onion and fry until soft and slightly brown.
Toast the 2 slices of toast — its far tastier when the bread is toasted!
Spread the toast slices with tomato ketchup. Add the burger, kale and onions and top with the other slice of bread … and ENJOY
