- 500 g chickpeas
- 3 tspn tahini
- 3 x lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 tspn bicarbonate of soda
500 grams chickpeas soaked over night
3 tablespoons tahini
Juice of 3 lemons
2 cloves of garlic mashed
¼ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
Cover chickpeas with water add bicarbonate (this makes
Cooking faster and chickpeas smoother) and cook until soft,
Leave to cool and then drain.
Put all ingredients in a blender, till the mixer is smooth.
Test for salt and lemon if it needed add more.
Garnish with olive oil and mint.
