  • 4 x skinless chicken breast
  • 3 Tbls rice flour
  • 2 Tbls corn starch
  • 1 Tbls self - raising flour
  • 200 ml coconut cream
  • 200 ml water
  • 1/2 tspn salt
  • 1/4 tspn pepper
  • 100 ml honey
  • 50 ml water
  • 1 L vegetable oil
  • 2 tspn sesame seeds


1-cut chicken breast into strips

2-mix chicken strips,1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper and allow to sit for 30 minutes

3-place 3 table spoons of rice flour,2 teaspoons of corn starch and 1 tablespoon of self raising flour with 200ml coconut cream and 200ml water into a large bowl and mix to create a batter.coat the chicken strips in the batter.

4-heat 1 litre vegetable oil in a deep saucepan to 350 degrees and fry chicken strips until golden brown.

5-heat up 100ml honey and 50ml water in a frypan and then add the chicken strips until the honey coats the chicken..

6-sprinkle the sesame seeds over chicken for garnish.
