  • 12 x green prawns
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4-1/2 x red chilli
  • 2 x spring onions (sliced diagonally)
  • 8 x snow peas
  • 2-3 Tbls honey
  • 3 Tbls potato/corn flour
  • 1/2 tspn `ginger powder
  • 1/2 tspn chicken powder
  • 3 Tbls oil


Peel & devein prawns. Pat dry with paper towel.
Combine flour, ginger powder & chicken powder on greaseproof paper. Lightly coat prawns.
Add oil to wok (3/4 heat), & immediately add finely diced chilli & garlic
Add prawns & toss (use tongs to flip prawns ensuring they cook on both sides).
Add sliced spring onions & snow peas. Toss
Drizzle honey. Toss & remove from heat (Don’t overcook)
Serve with rice or noodles

Both chilli & sweetness easily adapted to suit personal taste.

Prep time 15 mins. Cook time 5 mins. Serves 2
