- 1 cup mash
- 1 kg lamb
- 2 cups rice
Turn on oven to 170 degrees Celsius.
Heat in a large saucepan oil and add lamb till golden.
Add onions sliced and stir till aromatic
Put lamb and onion into a casserole dish.
Gradually cream stirring.
Add star anaise and curry powder.
Put into oven for 1 hour.
Add your choice of veges after 1 hour and cook for another half hour.
Add green beans and cook for a further 15 minutes.
Get out of oven to sit whilst cooking your sides.
Cook rice in a rice cooker. (If you prefer as side dish).
Boil peeled potatoes for mash (if you prefer as a side)
Mash potatoes, milk and butter.
Add rice or mash to one side of bowl, and lamb curry to other.(note, I added two other photos of other recipes I have made. Lobster pie, and salmon plate)
