  • 300 g thick cut leg ham (cut 1cm cubes)
  • 200 g mushrooms (thinly sliced)
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 300 ml cream
  • 250 g guzzies fettucini egg pasta tricolore
  • 1 tspn crushed black pepper
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 50 g butter


Serves 4
* Cook pasta in boiling water until tender
* Melt butter in large fry pan on a medium to high temperature, add the ham and cook for 5 minutes
* Add mushrooms and garlic and cook for a further 3 minutes
* Add the cream and simmer for 5 minutes or until sauce has reduced by half
* Add the Parmesan cheese and black pepper, cook until cheese has melted through
* combine the pasta with the sauce and mix through
* divide into 4 bowls topped with extra Parmesan cheese

  • Thanks :) It was really good i used to always add wine to this recipe and then the last few times tried it this way, its really tasty. My wife has a wine on the side :)

  • This was amazing…even my teenagers loved it and didn’t complain about the fresh mushrooms I used in it. :-)
