Ingredients

  • 500 g veal mince
  • 500 g pork mince
  • 300 g pork back fat
  • 1 cup fresh home made bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbls dry oregano
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 2 x eggs
  • 1 tspn pepper
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • 1 Tbls salt
  • 1 cup parmesan
  • 1 cup olive oil

Method

1) Pre-heat oven at 180 degrees
2) Add all ingrediants into a large mixing bowl, along with pre-beaten eggs & chopped up pork fat
3) Mix all ingredients together with your hands until well combined
4) Using your hands roll into balls, keeping them all the same size
5) Place the meatballs in a baking dish & bake for 15-20 minutes at a moderate temperature!

** If you like, i chose to bake my meatballs in a fresh tomato sauce & served with a tomato salad. They can also be served in a pasta, with polenta or as finger food.
