- 500 g moong dal
- 100 g rice
- 1 Tbls ginger
- 2 Tbls green chillies
- 1 Tbls salt
- 1 cup onion chopped very hin
- 1/2 tspn cumin
- 1 bunch coriander leaves
- 1/2 cup water
1.Soak Moongdal and rice together overnight with 6 cups of water
2. Grind the moong dal with ginger, salt, chilies and water as required. The batter must be smooth consistency. but not very thin
3.Chop coriander very thin.
4.Mix diced onions,coriander,cumin seeds,pinch salt,2 drops of lime juice and set a side for 3 mts.
5.Heat a nonstick flat pan in medium heat for 3 mts.
6.Add 1/2 cup of batter to pan and spread evenly with spoon.
Starting from the center, spiral outwards until it is evenly spread.
Immediately add spread a spoon of onion coriander mixture.
7.Drizzle a spoon of oil and let it cook until it is dry and brown color.
8.Once it is cook you cans see dosa seperates from the pan smoothly.
Using spatula carefully fold it in to half but dont press it,and serve on the plate
along with Peanut chutney..

I brought it too from india but food processor will also works.
For any sort of dosa the combination would be coconut chutney or peanut chutney
My husband doesnt prefer coconut so i always go with peanut chutney
