- 1.5 kg lamb chops
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh mint
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 3 Tbls lemon juice ( fresh )
- 4 Tbls olive oil
- 2 Tbls ground cumin
- 2 tspn ground paprika
- 2 tspn salt
- 1 tspn dried ginger
- 1 tspn ground tumeric
- 1/2 tspn pepper
- 1/2 tspn hot chilli powder or to taste
Wash the lamb chops and drain thoroughly.
In a large mixing bowl combine the herbs, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil and spices. Add the lamb chops and mix well to coat the meat evenly.
Cover and refrigerate overnight to allow flavours to develop.
Grill until chops are cooked to taste and serve with a fresh side salad.
