- 250 g copha margarine
- 300 g plain flour
- 20 g dry yeast
- 1 tspn caster sugar
- 1 Tbls milk
- 1 cup extra icing sugar
- 2 x sachets vanilla sugar (iga )
1)In a small bowl dissolve yeast, sugar and milk. You can add little bit water, but not to much.
2)Sift flour into a bigger bowl add Copha margarine- room temperature and dissolved yeast. With hand make dough and put in bigger saucepan with cold water and leave there for 2 hours. After 2 hours take it out and with hand knead again, make soft dough.More softer more better.Fill pipping bag with the dough and create the cookies on baking tray.
3) Cook in preheated oven on170 C (fan forced ) until golden brown.Let them little bit cool down and cover with icing sugar mixed with vanilla sugar.(vanilla sugar from IGA supermarket)
PS.This Christmas cookies are very, but really very cheap and taste is amazing you will be surprise.I always make double or more.
