- 240 g original oreo cookies
- 150 g vanilla oreo cookies
- 40 g butter
- 500 g cream cheese
- 200 g sour cream
- 200 g icing sugar
- 190 g eggs
- 1 tspn vanilla beans
- 150 g white chocolate
- 50 ml milk
- 20 g butter
Heat oven to 150°c
For the base:
Use 150 g of vanilla Oreo and 90 g of original Oreo.
Use a food processor to finely chop the cookies.
Melt the butter (40 g) in the microwave.
Mix crushed cookies with melted butter and move the mix into the pan.
Press onto bottom (I use baking paper so it won’t stick to the fingers and will be really tightly pressed).
For the filling:
Use 90 g of original Oreo.
Coarsely chop the cookies.
Beat cream cheese and sour cream in large bowl with mixer until there are no lumps. Add icing sugar and vanilla and mix well.
Add the eggs slowly, mixing on low speed until blended.
Stir in chopped cookies.
Pour slowly onto the base.
Bake for 45-60 minutes, until the centre of the cake is nearly set.
Take out of the oven and run a knife around rim of the pan to loosen the cake.
Let cool and refrigerate at least 4 hours.
For the White Chocolate “glaze”:
Melt the chocolate and butter (20 g) in microwave or Bain-Marie.
Warm up the milk and add the chocolate mix.
Mix well and pour on top of the cake.
Spread the chocolate with a palette knife to cover the cake.
Decorate with the remaining cookies.
