Ingredients

  • 1 kg minced meat
  • 6 L potatoes
  • 2 L tomatoes
  • 4 tspn tomato paste
  • 4 cups water
  • 3 tspn oil
  • 1/2 cup parsley

Method

Oven baked kofta with potato

Ingredients:
1 Kilo minced meat ( or ready made kofta )
6 large potatoes cut into wedges
2 tomatoes chopped finely
4 tablespoons tomato paste
4 cups of water
Oil for frying
Parsley for decoration

How to prepare:
Fry potatoes, arrange on an oven tray, shape the mince meat into finger, fry them to seal, then alternatively arrange 1 potato wedge and then a mince meat finger.

How to prepare sauce:
Dilute the tomato paste in hot water, add salt & pepper, and pour dicedtomatoes on top of the tray.
Bake in a moderate oven at 180c for 1 hour or until done, top with chopped parsley.

Serve with rice.

  • Hhmmm, that sounds very delicous — I will going to make this as vegan version — I love baked dishes!
