Ingredients

  • 1 x frozen pie crust
  • 1 cup chopped fresh pecans
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup castor sugar
  • 1 x egg
  • 1 tspn vanilla essence
  • 1 Tbls cornflour
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter (melted)

Method

Pie Crust
Bake frozen pie crust as per directions (usually 10 minutes- then add filling)

Filling
Beat egg then add all other ingredients and mix until combined.
Fill pie crust and cook in 180 degrees oven for 40 minutes. Filling may be a little wobbly, but let sit for 10 minutes and it should set.

Serve with some whipped cream or vanilla ice cream!
