- 4 -6 x rump steaks
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 50 g butter
- 2 x brown onion(finely chopped)
- 1 x red capsicum, cut into strips
- 50 g plain flour
- 1 1/2 Tbls dry sweet paprika (powder )
- 1 L beef stock
- 300 ml thickened cream
- 250 g button mushrooms(sliced )
- 1 cup fresh green beans or snow peas
- 1 cup baby corn
- 3/4 cups frozen carrots or fresh
- 1 x extra 50 g of butter
1)In pan heat oil,add steaks and fry until brown on both sides.Put into slow-cooker and cover with lid.In same pan heat butter,add onions and fry until brown.Add flour and paprika,stir and add cold stock,stir and bring to boil.Pour that over the meat.
2)In same pan heat butter,add mushrooms,beans,carrots,capsicum and corn and cook for short time.Before steaks are cooked add the vegetable.Pour in thickened cream,stir and season with salt and pepper.If is sauce to runny mix little bit corn flour in water,pour in slow-cooker and cook until bubble.
3)Serve with potatoes,rice or pasta.
