  • 4 x potatoes
  • 3 x carrots
  • 1 x onion (finely chopped)
  • 4-5 x cherkins (i use sweet and sour)
  • 400 g sausage berliner (or bacon pieces or boiled meat or chicken)
  • 1 x can of green peas
  • 2 x eggs, hardboiled
  • 150 ml mayonnaise (praise traditional creamy mayonnaise)
  • 150 ml light sour cream


Boil potatoes, carrots in salted water until soft, then drain and allow to cool. Peel.
All the ingredients dice into cubes, add the peas.
For the sauce combine sour cream and mayonnaise and stir.
Add sauce to the salad and mix well. Add salt to taste. Serve in a salad bowl or in batches.
