- 0.25 cup cornflour
- 1 Tbls salt
- 1 Tbls cracked black pepper.
- 1 tspn cajun seasoning
- 0.5 tspn cayenne pepper
- 500 g prawns
- 0.5 cup oil for frying
Dry the prawns on paper towels.
Mix the corn flour, salt, pepper, cajun seasoning and cayenne pepper together in a bowl.
Dip each prawn in the seasoned flour and set aside ready to fry.
Fry the prawns in small batches for 2-3 minutes, turning half way through.
When golden brown on both sides, drain on paper towels to remove the excess oil.
Serve on a bed of salad or with mayonnaise/aioli dipping sauce.
