- 2 cups sr flour
- 30 g butter, soft
- 1 cup milk
- 1 Tbls lemon juice
Pre-heat oven to 250C (200C fan forced), preheat oven tray lined with baking paper
Combine milk & lemon juice, set aside
Sift flour. Add butter, rub into flour. Add milk mixture to make a soft dough
Turn onto a floured board and knead lightly, roll out to 3 cm thick and cut into shape
Brush with milk bake on the hot oven tray for 12-15 mins
serve warm with jam and cream or with butter and cheese!
Makes 6 approx.
