- 3/4 cups milk
- 125 g unsalted butter
- 1 1/4 cup plain flour
- 3 x eggs ( room temperature )
- 2 cups icing sugar
- 2 x sachets vanilla sugar (iga )
- 1 x bottle oil ( for frying )
- 1 x jar of berry jam
1 ) Combine milk and butter in a medium saucepan ,bring to boil stir until butter melted.Add flour all at once,using a wooden spatula,stir until well combined and dough come away from the side of saucepan,form a ball.
2 ) Place the dough in a food processor bowl and with the motor running,slowly add the eggs and process until the dough is thick and glossy.Transfer the dough to a large bowl,cover with plastic food foil,leave to chill ( 30 mins. )
3 Place icing sugar in a medium bowl,add vanilla sugar and mix well.
4 ) Heat oil in a large heavy – based saucepan over moderate heat.With …bit oiled hands make smaller ball and fry them in hot oil…..about 5 minutes or until golden brown.Put them on paper towel to drain oil.
5 )Heat jam in a small saucepan over medium heat,them push through fine sieve .Fill piping bag with a small nozzle with the jam and gently push the nozzle into doughnuts.
6 ) Serve hot dusted with icing sugar and your favorite drink.
