  • 4 x carrots
  • 0.5 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tspn shredded coconut
  • 4 x green chilles
  • 1 x red chilli
  • 1/2 tspn cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tspn mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tspn lime juice
  • 1/2 tspn urad dal
  • 1/2 tspn chana dal
  • 1 x onion


Steam chopped carrots in Microwave high for 5 mts.
Heat the pan on medium heat and crackle mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
Once they splutter add the urad dal and chana dal .
fry for a minute till they turn brown.

Now add onions , chillies and fry them till the onions turn light brown in color.
Add cooked carrots and frozen peas.
Add salt according to the taste .
Let it cook for 5 minutes.
Before switching off the stove add the shredded coconut , stir it and let it sit for more minute.

Optional(Add coriander if required).

Taste better with roti or rice
