Ingredients

  • 1 cup tofutti cream cheese (available at woolies & organic+vegan stores)
  • 1 stalk x spring onion - very fine chopped with the green part
  • 1 generous splash linseed oil
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 2 x slices of whatever bread you like

Method

Very simple.
Add the Tofutti Cream Cheese into your food processor. Add the lemon juice and linseed oil and process until creamy. That only should take 1 min. Linseed oil is a high natural source of Omega 3 — so just perfect to use for dips and spreads!

Remove the cheese from your processor and add into a nice bowl. Add the chopped spring onion and season with seasalt and black pepper. Stir well and cover the bowl with a lid. Give the spring cheese a couple of hours to rest. Best is prepare it in the morning or around lunch time and enjoy for dinner on your bread.
