- 250 g butter
- 2 cups brwn sugar
- 2 1/2 cups sifted , plain flour
- 1/2 tspn bicarb soda
- 4 x eggs
- 300 g chopped dates
- 2 tspn bicarb soda , extra
- 30 g buter , melted
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup cream
Cream buter and sugar , add flour , bicarb then add eggs one at a time .
Boil dates with extra bicarb .
Combine dates ro flour mixture then cook for 50mins in pre-heated oven at 160C.
SAUCE- Melt butter and brown sugar , once sugar is dissolved add cream pour sauce over the sticky date puddings serve with ice-cream,
