Ingredients

  • 2 cups self - raising flour
  • 5 Tbls unsalted butter(melted)
  • 1 tspn vanila essence
  • 1/2 cup sultanas
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 x eggs(lightly beaten just with fork) )
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 30 g unsalted butter( room temperature )

Method

1)put in bowl,flour,sugar,milk,vanilla essence,melted butter,(but not hot)and eggs.Mix all well together.

2)Grease baking loaf with butter and dust with bread – crumb inside.Pour the mixture in and bake in oven on 170 C 30 – 40 minutes or until nice and gold.

PS.When you put the skewer in the middle and take it out must be dry.The cake is done.
