- 1 kg plain flour
- 3 x sachets dry yeast
- 1 x egg
- 600 g pork grieves ( chopped )
- 2 Tbls pork lard ( melted,cooled )
- 750 ml full-cream milk (room temperature )
- 1 tspn salt
1) Sift flour into a bowl,add dissolved yeast,egg,grieves,lard and slowly milk,make dough.The dough can’t be to thin.Cover with cooking plastic foil and leave it to rise.
2)Transfer the dough on floured working surface and with rolling pin roll out to 1 cm thick.With round cutter cut rounds.Place them on lightly greased baking tray,and each brush with whisked egg.Let them ….5 minutes rise,then put them into preheated oven on 180 C and bake it until golden brown.
PS.This is good for breakfast with coffee or in winter time with hot soup or in summer time when you have beautiful cold beer.
