- 3 x eggs
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 handful butter
Put 3 eggs and a handful of butter (either to fit int he palm of your hand or cut it like you would slice cheese). Put it all in a pot and start it on a medium heat, CONSTANTLY stirring. Once it starts thickening take it off the heat for a little bit (5 or so seconds), then put it back on the heat. Do this 3 – 4 times. After that it should ALMOST be ready. Take it of the heat at this stage as the heat from the pot will keep cooking it. Add the cream, salt and pepper. Stir until it’s thoroughly combined and you’re done. You can add a topping of your choice like parsley or chives if you like I prefer chives).
Another tip if you would like to mix things up is to add cheese while it’s cooking and there you have ‘cheesy scrambled eggs’. All up to you.
