- 125 g butter
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 3 x eggs
- 1 tspn vanilla essence
- 1 1/4 cup plain flour
- 1 Tbls milk
- 6 x tim tams crushed
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Grease and flour a cake pan.
In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
Combine flour and baking powder, add to the creamed mixture and mix well.
Between two sheets of baking paper, crush Tim Tams using a meat tendoriser. (I used two dark chocolate Tim Tams and 1 white chocolate Tim Tam) Add crushed Tim Tams to the batter.
Finally stir in the milk until batter is smooth.
Pour batter into the prepared pan.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes in the preheated oven.
Using an electric mixer on medium speed, beat icing sugar and butter together for 4 minutes or until light and fluffy.
Place chocolate melts into a microwave safe dish and microwave for 1 min, stirring half way through.
Pour melted chocolate into the icing mixture along with the milk and stir until combined.
Crush another 3 Tim Tams between two pieces of baking paper and decorate cake.
I also cut the cake in half after it had cooled from the oven and spread strawberry jam and cream which had been whipped with a cup of icing sugar.

What a wonderful idea! Very Australian! Looks delicious!
Honestly, what’s more delicious than a Tim Tam!?
It was good, but i didn’t like anything about this. If your goal was to make it bad you got it right! At least you tried!
I see that you spend all of your time writing bad reviews on people’s recipes…not very nice.
